There are various entrances to the Provincetown bike trails; each is well marked and quite easy to find. This is a fun way to spend part of a day, touring the wild and windswept land of dunes and dense woods, ponds and beach. All sorts of sites and birdlife await you on these twisty but well-maintained trails. Paths are usually clearly marked. Be sure to bring a camera, water and sunblock.

Beautiful path!
By jade0212, 06/22/07
We rode our bicycles from the Fairbanks Inn on Bradford through the salt marsh to Herring Cove and picked up the path at the end of the lot. We took the path through the dunes to Beech Forest... it was absolutely gorgeous. The path has a few sharp turns to be on the lookout for, and through Beech Forest both I and my girlfriend wound up with a thorn in a tire on 2 separate days which caused flats. The dunes are like riding through a little desert so bring water & sunscreen. But the scenery is gorgeous and the path is a lot of fun!

P-Town Trails

Great paved trail for beginners and just about anyone looking to have a nice day on the bike. Due to blowing sand you should be careful with narrow tires. There are couple of underpass' that you should take care and keep your head down. This is not a technical trail and is suited for all types of bikes. A must "To Do".
