Brewster Scoop (The)
Located in the back of The Brewster Store, the Scoop offers delightful flavors of homemade ice cream, yogurt, and sugar free yogurt. The coconut almond fudge, wildberry crunch, mud pie, Oreo cookie, chocolate chip cookie dough, and Snickers are just a few of the popular flavors. You then have a choice of toppings like hot fudge, Butterfingers, Nutter Butter cookie pieces, M&Ms, gummy bears, and Oreo cookie pieces. Service is fast and friendly. Though strictly a to-go place, there are benches to sit on outside. Hours are seasonal.
This is by far one of the Cape's best kept secrets! The charm alone of the Brewster General Store is enough of a draw for curious tourists, but the ice cream is phenomenal! For the last 10 or so years, my family has vacationed 10 min from the Brewster Gen. Store, but had gone to popular spots like Emack and Bolios and Sundae School. In the last few years, however, we discovered the awesome flavors and reasonable prices of the Brewster Scoop! Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area or just driving through!!
