Repeat Visitor
By Pat, 07/28/08
I've been interning in the Boston area this summer and this has been one of my favorite museums that I have visited. You wouldn't expect such a large and diverse collection from a university museum, but they have done a wonderful job of creating an atmosphere that is engaging for kids and adults. I have visited more than a few times and still get something out of it. Kudos to this museum for providing such a wonderful presentation of animals, minerals, meteorites and dinosaurs. Oh yeah...and don't forget to visit the world-renowned glass flowers. They are AMAZING.

Glass Flowers are amazing!
By Blue, 03/02/07
It's hard to believe that the glass flowers aren't real..My son loved all the real 'stuffed animals'. You can get so close to the animals --Bengal tiger, elephant, rhino-- and see strange ones like pangolin or echidnas..or a giant hammerhead shark. The minerals, including a 1,642 pound amethyst geode from Brazil, are amazing.
