Boston Duck Tours

Description

A fleet of "Ducks", brightly colored, vintage World War II amphibious vehicles provide narrated, half-land, half-water tours of Boston. Do not be alarmed when your Duck abandons its wheels and lowers itself onto the Charles River! Tours cover many of Boston's downtown tourist attractions famous spots like the State House and the Prudential Tower. Keep in mind, Tour guides encourage quacking! Tickets sell out quickly, especially on summer weekends. So go and quack away with Boston Duck Tours.

This was not the best tour because the driver kept making fun of some of the passengers on the car. It would have been better if I had a different driver.

No thanks!

Rained out over half of our tour no refunds was a waist of hours of waiting and pricey tickets, take the swan boats in the commons, cheaper and more relaxing.

Absolutely Amazing!
By ,
I thought the duck tour was awesome! I took my kids and family there and we all loved it. The tour guides are helpful and informative and we also get to see a lot of the city on land and in water! Totally worth your time and money. =)

Worst tour ever!
By ,
Worst tour ever! For an hour we were listening about drivers' hobbies and getting know about wretches sitting next to us, who were unfortunate to buy this "tour" too. This is swindle, to name the things. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the cap, but he was the one riding the bikes and talking about then non-stop.

I Love Boston's Duck Tours
By ,
When I lived in Boston, I loved taking visitors on Duck Tours. They're such a fun, light-hearted way to see the city, and the guides are always personable and full of quirky (quacky?) facts. I highly recommend taking one, especially if it's a warm day.

Duck Tour During the 4th. of July Weekend
By ,
I loved every minute of our journey around Boston. On the street and on the water. Our driver was very knowlegable and even let some of the passengers drive the "Duck" while in the water. I'd recommend this tour to everyone !! Richie V.

90 minutes of my life i wont get back
By ,
The driver was a mess who pretended to be funny making wise cracks at passers by and the other duck drivers .funny to a point of being offensive . He didnt even seem to get the message when people from one of the other boats on the river showed him the finger . Other people here seem to be raving about how the drivers know a lot about boston .if pointing to a building and saying here;s this building is all it takes then yeah the driver knows it all . If you really want to see bost take theolley tours .its way more informative and at the end of it you could say youve seen boston

I had some much fun on the duck Tour with my family. Our tour guide knew everything about Boston. We went around town on land first then went around town on the water. It was fun. I loved it. I would recommened to everyone to do the Duck Tour.

Don't waste your time, go to Old Town Trolleys instead
By ,
Try getting a tour, good luck. For the money they charge, you would think they would have seating instead of having to reserve DAYS in advance. They offer online reservations, but those are limited. Plus they charge you $3.50 for the "convenience." Instead, try going to Old Town Trolley tours. You can pick them up in several spots. We got our tickets at the Sheraton hotel (outside) in Back Bay. The trolley driver was the best, and you get a great tour where you can actually see, not be crammed in on a bench like the Duck Tours.

A Boston Must...
By ,
If you are going on a trip to Boston, you must take the Duck Tour. We had a great tour guide, funny and very informative. My friend was able to drive the boat a little around the Charles River, she loved it. We had a good group of people on the boat too so that was another plus. This tour is a great way to see Boston at different angles and get a little history to boot. I can't wait to go again...
