For a breathtaking view of the city and surrounding area, take a trip to this Skywalk Observatory, perched on the 50th floor of the soaring Prudential Tower. The windows here offer breathtaking vista of Boston in all directions. On a clear day, visitors can see the mountains of New Hampshire. Went to the observatory at night- the view was neat. The narrated personal audio devices that were available were a little annonying. It was a little overpriced. Would suggest going during the day to see more.
I had been to Boston several times without visiting the Skywalk and I am sorry that I did not visit sooner. I was a little leery about the $10 admission fee, but between the audio guide and the panaromic views of Boston, the price is well worth it. This is the perfect place to go in the beginning of your trip because you will figure out which places in Boston you will most want to visit from the audio guide.
This place is amazing, it looks kewl at the top. It's $10.50 but it is worth it. In the day time everything is bright and sunny but at night the sky is dark blue and you see all of the buildings lit-up....a must see if your going around there!
