Prudential Center Skywalk Observatory
Description
For a breathtaking view of the city and surrounding area, take a trip to this Skywalk observatory. The windows here present a vista of Boston in all directions. On a clear day, visitors can see the mountains of New Hampshire. Museum-like displays offer detailed information on the history of Boston's geography.
The Prudential Center and Skywalk is my favorite place in Boston. When I lived in Boston I went there all the time. Not only is it the best place to get a skytower view of the whole city but its also a great place to simply hang out and shop. Having been completely remodeled in recent years, its really interesting architecturally too.
I would not be back there again! The sweet memory given to me with my loved one at that tower will always fresh and sweet. As i could remember the view from every angle on Boston since my last visit there. I would suggest that the visitor to bring the loved ones there minus the yelling and crying minor. Prefect spot.
The $10 fee was a bit high (you can get coupons for $2 off), but the views of Boston are fantastic! The self-guided audio tour is both informative and entertaining.
This explains it all........the perfect city view......it is so breathtaking to things from a different angle....and going to the Prudential Center Skywalk Observatory gives you a whole new look on Boston....on the streets life seems to just pass you by, but looking at Boston from the Pru lets you see how bustling life really is....there is so much going on that you cannot see just walking but looking out and down on the city from this experience lets you see it all!! It is a great value for what you get to see..
Just amazing views of Boston. None like it! If you are new to the city, a definite must to fully appreciate Boston. Then top it off by getting some drinks at Top of the Hub restaurant in the pru.
It was a beutiful site and a great place to see all of boston from its just an explaniable view. I would highly recomennded you to go to the top of the Top of the Prudential Center.
Historical display/reenactment plus view of the city give a non-resident a feel for the layout and significance of landmarks. Do not go on a cloudy day and the best time of day is late afternoon when city signs, or important land marks are lit up.
