Peddock's Island, Boston

I have gone to Peddock Island my whole life (I am now 46) It is very peaceful without the telephones and electricity. It is a place that you either love or hate. There is no running water or electricity. If you want it you better bring it but leave the Gameboys home. You can walk on the beach and see something different every time. My favorite time to be on the Island is on the Fourth of July, you can see the fireworks from all the surronding cities by sitting in one spot. If your willing to wait on the beach with the bugs you can even watch the fireworks from the Esplinade. The most important thing to remember to bring is the Bug Spray -- there are many, many, many mesquitoes around especially in the early morning and evening.
