5 reviews for Bicycle Bills
Great Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/19/09
My wife and I are both bike commuters--she around 5 miles each way and me around 20. Every time we have come in for maintenance or repairs it has been done right the first time and at a reasonable price. We have bought probably half a dozen bikes there, and been satisfied with all of them.

Found my dream bike!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/31/08
We snuck in 5 minutes before they closed and found the bike I had been looking for at every other bike shop in the area. Great place for rare finds. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, he stayed an extra 20 mins to help me get everything I needed. Will definitely go back and highly recommend it to others.

Good neighborhood bike shop
By Angelico, 10/22/07
This place rocks. Arne and Bill are cool to their customers, offer a good selection and are veritable icons of blue collar bicycle culture. I am a commuter/excerciser who thrashes on bikes because of the roads in Boston (somebody tell Mumbles the Mayor!) and these guys regularly fix my rear tire without stiffing me on repairs. The atmosphere is awesome. It's a cool mix of comfort and familiarity with some cool looking bikes thrown in.

they Know there stuff!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/07
Friendy knowledgable employees, the owner is quite a character, he really knows his stuff. they might not be the least expensive around but you can always find good deals there. They service what they sell and will give you truthful advise about your repairs.

Secret neighborhood gem
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/31/05
Bicycle Bills is a gem hidden in a quiet residential neighborhood of Allston. They have a great bike mechanic, who has kept my commuting bike in shape for years. While store is small, the selection is wide, contains the 'right' ones in each class, and cost-competitive with other top-tier bike stores. I'm purchasing a new road road bike there. The owner clearly knows bikes, and has patiently walked me through all the many options.
