oh how I miss you

I am a stationery freak; I love the stuff. Paper, notebooks, pens, pencils, storage, index cards, you name it. Shopping at Bob Slate is the best stationery-store experience I've ever had outside of Japan. That's not the store's fault; Japan has lots of cool stationery things they don't export. If they do export it, though, Slate will have it.
If you like stationery products, even if you're not as passionate as I am, you will enjoy yourself simply browsing. If you're a student and need notebooks for classes, they have good-quality ones for the same price as cheap ones. If you do research, you'll find lots of products to help you organize information. If you need plain old office supplies, or high-quality portfolios, and especially pens, pencils, markers and any kind of paper products, you'll find exactly what you want there. I went there regularly from 1988 until 1996, and go back every time I'm in town. Its quality and selection have always been the best.
Bob Slate's is the one thing I miss most about Cambridge, and I miss quite a lot.
