Shake the Tree Gallery, Boston

We've always loved the North end of Boston for its fabulous Italian restaurants and were so happy to see a few cool boutiques popping up. This store is my new favorite shop because it has great trendy clothes and handbags...they even carry Orla Kiely, a designer from London whose bags are impossible to find over here! They also have three cases of hand-made jewelry (mostly priced between $30 and $150) nice soaps, lotions, candles, stationary, cute sets of plates, baby gifts, ....a bit of everything. It's great for one-stop shopping...I can buy gifts for friends and something for myself. Prices vary throughout the store, ranging from buddha coins for a dollar to silk dresses in the low $200s, with a lot in between. Compared to other stylish Newbury street stores, the prices here are great! Also, the staff was very sweet and even made a recommendation for dinner!
