Watch Hospital, Boston

I went in to ask if they could replace a pin bar that broke on my buckle of my watch. Lady (rudely) said that if they had it's would be a couple bucks. I said fine and waited until they could see me. Then the lady comes out from the back and says that I owe them at least $15 dollars for all the work they've already done for the watch, none of which they told me they were doing. Apparently they dismantled the buckle completely to fix something that wasn't broken. After arguing that I never even asked for them to do any of that work and that I didn't want them to, they finally gave me back my watch, with the buckle loosed and missing more parts than when it had come into the store.

Went to the Watch Hospital this morning. Replacing my battery cost me $9.95 and it took about 5 minutes. The service was friendly and swift. There's nothing bad to say. I work in Harvard Square and was considering the Swiss Watchmaker on Church st. However, they are much more expensive and you usually have to leave your watch and pick-up later.

I have been several times and never been disappointed. The value is good and they have never failed!

Like: Quick and courteous. Know what they're doing. Dislike: Mildly pricey.

I went to this place today to get my watch repaired.....a total ripoff for the service they provide..no first come first served because of there letter system (A, B, C, D...).....

I went to the Watch Hospital to get a vintage watch replaired. A Tech looked at it and said, "balance staff broken, no parts". and handed it back to me. I went up the street to Colonial Trading, on Treamont street, who referred me to Minute Man Watch repair, which is just yards from the Watch Hospital. The Tech there looked at my watch. He said that the balance staff was fine, the watch only needed a cleaning. I can understand that the Watch Hospital would rather work on batteries and bands than fix a old watch, but to just blow me off was poor buisness...

For the past 3 decades they have replaced watch batteries and bands for me in record breaking time ! Quality, update selections - Always pleasant & cheerful - Honest expertise !! Truly don't know how I would have managed without them through the years !! Thank you, Again & Again ! Tricia

Everyone is very helpful and nice. I did not have to wait long to get my watch repaired. And the price is right.
