Shattering the stereotype of dark, cluttered comics shops, this Kenmore Square store is organized and well-lit. You will quickly find what you need in their wooden cubes labeled with large, brightly colored tags—and if you cannot, the staff is sure to help you. The stock is a good mix of mainstream and darker, avant-garde titles. New shipments arrive on Wednesdays.
Comicopia does not do Bronze, Silver and Golden Age back issues. What it does do it does really well.
It is a great comic shop for trade paperbacks and comics that came out over the last year to the present.
Mat is a nice guy (even though he once called me an idiot... but perhaps I deserved it!) and he runs a tight ship.
If you're tired of main streem comics this is the place to go. They have the largest collection of "underground" comics I've seen in boston. Ontop of that they have the coolest staff ever. Real good guys.
