Horai-San, Brookline

This store is like no other store that I've ever been in. The place itself has an incredibly calming affect on you, and at the same time awakens all your senses with their beautful statues, wall hangings, scented soy candles, essential oils, music from all over the world, crystals, books... basically everything a person needs to find some peace and balance in this hectic world! Everytime I go in I have this unique experience that enriches my life in some way...seriously! Through talking to their staff, and taking their free publications, I have been able to find a massage therapist that I see regularly, and a meditation group that I really enjoy going to. They have been around for over 20 years, so they have an enormous amout of information for anyone who is interested, and they have the best gifts.. I get almost all my holiday shopping done there! I always look forward to my next trip to Horai-san!!

great selection of spiritual books cd's, and spiritual paraphernalia. The staff was very helpful in finding what i needed,and a great assortment of incense.i think anyone will be satisfied with this bookstore!
