The founders of this popular tea bar were enjoying a pot of Darjeeling tea in Paris and lamenting that good teas were not widely available in the U.S. Then they opened this small tea bar in Harvard Square. There are over 100 tea choices at this sometimes-crowded cafe. Patrons can sit at one of the 10 copper-topped tables, listen to jazz and blues music, and sip their tea with scones, cakes and cookies. Located at Newbury Street the place is worth a peep.
Great atmosphere...the setting makes you feel as though you are somewhere quiet in Europe. Tons of teas to choose from..there is something for everybody. Great place to think, drink, chill, talk, whatever you might want to do. I definitely recommend the Chai blends. Oh...They also have soymilk for those lactose intolerant. Nothing bad to say about it.
Tealuxe is a great, laid-back place to meet up. The tea is good quality - and I am picky - and the food is fresh and very reasonably priced. I reccommend Tealuxe to you online daters meeting up for the first time.
