Sweetwater Cafe, Boston

came here for lunch on a wednesday. just stumbled upon it while walking down the alley on my way to the transportation building. instead of eating at the food court i decided to give sweetwater a try. i am glad i did! went in with a few friends to a nice quiet bar. got a few sandwiches. i had the roast beef, best one i have had in a long time, just like kelly's. my buddy had a chicken sandwich that was on the special menu, he said it was great, the sauce that was on it was amazing. sage mayonaise was what the waitress said. my buddy said it made the sandwich perfect. since that was the first time i had been there i decided to go back the next night for the beirut tournament they do on thursday night. we got there around 8ish and had some drinks before hand and a few appetizers (now i know where i am going for buffalo wings!). had a great time playing beirut, did not win the tourney but it was a blast anyways. i was a little nervous before we got our tab because we were drinking beer like crazy and had quite a bit to eat but surpisingly my half of the bill was less than $50! we had so much beer that if we were anywhere else it would have been a $200 tab and here we are at sweetwater and paying less than a hundred! now i know where my default bar is, i have quickly become a regular there for lunch and nights....plus late night when i am wasted they are still serving food i reccomend coming in and enjoying sweetwater!

I actually did not go into this bar, but I did wait in line. And the doorman very crudely told my friend and me "Flash me your tits and maybe I'll let you in". Classy huh? For a second there I thought maybe I took a wrong turn and wound up at some seedy collge frat party instead. I immediately rounded up our group of 20 people and we left. Needless to say, we will never be returning to this bar ever again.
