Who says that technology geeks do not know how to have fun? This aptly named bar attracts the MIT science whizzes and their computer programming brethren from the offices of nearby Kendall Square. The triangular tables and trendy minimalist decor make this a suitable hangout for artists as well as engineers. The food at Miracle Of Science Bar & Grill is simple, tasty and somewhat healthy. Enjoy roasted potatoes with your veggie burger instead of french fries.

Worst customer service experience in my life
By ValeriaL, 10/10/08
If I could give it 0 stars, I would have more of an appropriate review. Yesterday with my roommate I had a few drinks at Miracle of Science. We had to wait 20 minutes for a glass of wine and a beer that was sitting at the counter that was 8 ft away. Instead of delivering them, she would make other people drinks, but common service would make it where she would take the 30 seconds to deliver our drinks. The waitress didn't deliver them so my roommate finally took them himself and she gave him a bad look. I was very annoyed, for being rude to him, at so I said wow great customer service. Minutes later, she was complaining to the guy bartender and pointing and looking at us (rude) and she put both of our drinks on his tab without asking us (he had two beers before I arrived, so we did not arrive as a party as they claimed we did). I asked for change to pay my roommate back in cash and the bartender said roughly: In this bar you need to be not rude and polite otherwise we don't want you here. There is no more discussion about this. Thus, I STRONGLY recommend you not to support this bar. I usually really like local bars, but I never had such rude customer service in my life. Even in France, where people complain about customer service, I never had anything like this. I would suggest many of the other bars around Central Sq if you are in that area.

Do they really care about customers ?
By Dominic, 01/31/08
I went there last week-end, food was ok but nothing exceptional - that's only burgers after all. My concern about them is that they charge my credit card for an amount higher than what I signed, and when I call them to have an explanation, they hang up on me two times. That's extremely annoying.

Not that big of a deal
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/26/07
Went there because we had spent the day at the Museum of Science and thought it would be a fitting place for dinner. Unfortunately, the whole experience was OK. Not bad, but certainly not great. The burgers weren't bad, but certainly weren't anything special. The homefries-style potatoes were a little under-seasoned I thought. Most disappointing though was how the theme was so weakly executed. One review I read elsewhere talked about drinks and condiments served in beakers and test tubes with a menu that looks like the table of elements. We got bottles of ketchup, regular pint glasses and a hard-to-read chalkboard. Not a bad place to eat and a good value, but not the cool theme that we were hoping for.

Perfect on a cold rainy night
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/04/07
We ended up at The Miracle of Science after an hour of fruitless searching for sushi whilst the remnants of Hurricane Noel were battering the city. The food was great, the staff smart and friendly, the atmosphere convivial and welcoming. Well worth a visit.

this place is great for lunch
By Amy1475, 08/20/07
love the menu here...great burgers and fries...go early or you risk waiting in line. There aren't a lot of tables and the place tends to fill up fast during the week. The place is small but worth the wait! Try it I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I don't know where to begin?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/10/06
This place offers a simple menu of affordable food that is extremely well executed. My personal favorite would have to be the Roni burger, a mildly spicy and very filling beef patty served with a side of home frie style potatoes. The service here is also great, and if you get a chance swing by the bar for a cocktail and some conversation. The bartenders have great down to earth personalities (if you're reading this, thanks for the advice!). Needless to say the miracle has another satisfied customer.

It's a miracle!

Finally, a great place to get burgers in Cambridge. Low-key and relaxing. But most important, the food is excellent. Don't miss the roasted potatoes and the tasty quesadillas!

Give me HUMMUS!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/04/06
The have the best tasting Hummus plate I've ever had. My only complaintant is that it tends to be cold this time of year. There single door entrance provides a very cold blast of air every time some comes in or goes out!

Favorite Burger Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/28/04
Miracle is my favorite place to go! I LOVE their Burgers - they're the best ever. And the service is great. The atmosphere is WONDERFUL...I can't say enough good things about it. Amazing and will DEF go again. My only complaint is that the place is so popular, you can never get a seat!
