Description

Whiskey's Food & Spirits, located near the Hynes Convention Center , is a good old-fashioned barbecue spot—take it from the pig-shaped sign that declares 'Welcome to Hog Heaven'. All of the traditional American barbecue items are offered here. The Pan-Fried Chicken and the Ribs are quite popular. There is a healthy selection of whiskey behind the bar, and beer, margaritas and daiquiris for the not-so-hard-core drinkers. This establishment tends to draw a young crowd and can get a bit loud.

Nosiy and fun

I was walking down the street and liked what I saw on the menu so I took the family to Whiskey's while on vacation/convention. The BBQ was great and we made two dinners out of each plate because the portions were so generous. This was one of my best memories of Boston.

I absolutely loved my experience at this bar. The service was great and the people were really nice. I will definately go back.

Rudest GM ever....Don't go!

I had quite poissibly the worst experience with a member of the staff at this place. The "GM and Part Owner", according to her, was extremely rude to me and my friends. We were interested in watching a particular football game and asked her if she could put it on one of the TV's for us. She ignored us the first time we asked and then became rude and actually hostile the second time. When I asked her if this is how she regularly treated customers she replied "if you don't like it then leave"....so we did and will never go back. We ended up going to the Pour House which is a block away and had a great time!
