The ambiance is great and it has the best steak tips, mac & cheese and mojitos. I go there at least once a week with my boyfriend for a romantic dinner.

i flew in from d c meeting friends for dinner and drinks and we were a party of 6, 2 were running behind and they refused to give us table til our other 2 members arrived made us stand and wait sat us at a small table oerall the ambiance nor th food was worth the aggravation nor the attitude the staff has.I think this establishment needs to hire some new workers with a pleasant attitude to deal with the public

I love this place. They have the rules in place because the place is tiny. If you can't relax at the bar and wait for your entire party to show up, go some place else. Is it that difficult?

A friend from Boston picked this place out and we were going to meet her there. As soon and we went in we told them that we were waiting for two other people and they told us we would have to wait to be seated until our whole party was together. It was 9pm on a Tuesday night, so the place wasn't very busy and it was passed dinner time anyway. The waiter was not very friendly and he seemed to get annoyed that we only ordered snacks and drinks. We spent more that a group of 4 would have spent on just a dinner cause we had a few drinks, but he didn't seem to care that much.

After a rough week at work, like most professionals in Boston, I was searching for a laid back Friday dinner with some friends. When my friend and I arrived and requested a table for 3, the hostess told us that she can not seat us till the 3rd party arrived. Since we were so hungry and exhausted from our day and we weren't sure if the 3rd party was arriving at all, we told the waitress that only 2 of us will be having dinner. She then rudely informed us that if our party decides to join us later, he will not be allowed to join us. So she sat us at a small table, where we ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees immediately. As we began consumming our meal, our 3rd party decided to show up. The hostess came over and scolded at us with more disrespects than I've ever experienced in any restaurants. We had all been so exhausted that day and didn't have additional energy to waste on arguing and making a foolish scene. So we continued on with our evening and refused to her this event ruin our night. However, I felt the need to share my experience to warn others. As for the food, the steak strips were good and the price was definitely cheap. However, the attitude was a high price to pay for.

This place is awesome! The wait was a little long, but one should expect to wait when dining out at 7:30 on a weekend evening. Once I had a cocktail in my hands I didn't even notice the wait, it seemed to fly by. My friend and I were seated at a cozy corner table and our waiter, who had huge sideburns (very hip!) took great care of us. He definitely knew what he was doing. I had the mac and cheese (the best I've ever tasted!) and my friend had the steak tips. Out of this world. I will definitely be back.

Don't waste your time on rude staff and lectures from waiters! Even this food is not worth it! A few friends and I went here after work on a Monday evening. Even though the place was empty, we were told we couldn't sit until our entire party of 4 was there. After about ten minutes of standing around staring at emply tables, the waiter permitted us to sit even though we were still waiting for one more person. He made it very clear to us he was doing us a "big favor" by letting us sit. Our fourth friend arrived five minutes later and we ordered drinks, appetizers, and main courses. Before the main courses came, another friend who didn't think he was going to be able to come walked in. We were delighted he had been able to get out of work, and asked for a chair to put at the end of the table. Our waiter promptly came over and started lecturing us about the "rules" and how mad he was at us that another person was joining us. Never mind that we had been drinking, eating, and spending plenty of money or that the place was empty. I have never been spoken to like this before at a restaurant. EVER. This guy was completely out of line--I felt like I was teenager getting yelled at for coming home late. We cancelled the rest of our order, paid for what we'd eaten and walked out. I will admit the food was good, but nothing is worth getting treated like that, especially when you're a paying customer (or a human being). I will never go back and recommend that others patronize an establishment that has staff with manners and class.
