This cheery Irish restaurant and pub has a unique story: It was built in Ireland and shipped in crates across the Atlantic, then reassembled at this Government Center locale. Lunchtime sees business people crowding in for a hearty midday meal; dinner time is quieter. The menu includes entrees, such as Irish stew, portabello risotto and grilled pork chops. The food and the ambience are more upscale than that of an average pub. This establishment offers live entertainment five nights a week.
Great food, service and waiter. They have an awesome draft beer-Vicory Lager, not available anywhere else in MA. The brewery is near Phila, PA.
I would have liked live Irish music, and more ethnic food variety, but all in all, a neat place. I will go back.
I have been to the Restaurant a few times. The Kinsale wings are a good appetizer. They are sweet and come in a boneless choice too. All three times I went were at lunch time so I can't tell you about the live entertainment. The Turkey wraps are decent too.
