The gallery itself is a one-eighth scale replica of the Wright brothers' hangar, where they built their first military airplane. It was here, in 1909, that Wilbur Wright trained military officers to fly. The oldest continuously operating airport in the world. The Wright brothers trained military pilots there. Many planes on exhibit. Hands on section for kids and a modern airplane to climb into. Upstairs has an activity area for classes and group activities.
