This lovely little cafe on Hampden's Avenue offers an assortment of gourmet coffees, from espresso to latte and capuccino. The multiethnic menu features focaccia sandwiches filled with turkey or roasted vegetables and Vietnamese warm shrimp salad. On weekend mornings, the cafe also offers breakfast favorites, such as Huevos Rancheros or apple pancakes. This cafe is very popular with the locals, particularly on weekends, so be prepared for a pleasant wait. Pass the time on the comfy couch in the quiet back room.
While the food and atmosphere are great, the wait time of 65 minutes for breakfast with no sight of the server is not worth the wait. Would not return; would not recommend. Baltimore has far better local restaurants with similar atmosphere and style with better service to offer.
