Located at the intersection of Thames Street and Broadway, this lively little bar is at the very heart of Fells Point. It's also home to the biggest outdoor seating area in the neighborhood—a great place to sip a beer and soak up the local color. Inside, there are hardwood floors, redbrick walls and a well-stocked bar. The kitchen serves up decent bar fare, with an emphasis on fresh seafood. (Try the oysters.) On weekends, a DJ entertains, and during the week various local acoustic musicians play.

Crabs are well worth the bucks.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/14/07
My mother and I stopped by almost 2 weeks ago for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at the size and weight of some crabs we ordered at $1 each. We ordered a dozen which were sized pretty good for the money. The seasoning was very good. I had to return 3 because their shells were fractured and was given replacements with one extra. The waitress was very nice and friendly. I recommend it highly.

Soft Shell Crab Heaven
By Raymond, 10/02/06
Being from California, Dungeness is THE CRAB, and normally the only one. Soft shell crab is hard to find, and usually found in Japanese retaurants. The only crab cakes available are the frozen variety. I was amazed at the availability of soft shell crab, and the crab sandwich at The Admiral's Cup is awesome. The bread is first rate, and the French fries are satisfying. The gumbo is very good, and the mashed potatoes served with some of the other entrees are first rate. The Cup is worth a visit not only for the food, but also the service and the friendly staff.
