Cajun Pride Swamp Tour
Cajun Pride Swamp Tour is a fun and informative way to see a scenic swamp and wildlife refuge. You might see a whole zoo-full of creatures including alligators, bald eagles, waterfowl, owls, beavers, raccoons and even black bears. Tours generally last about two hours.
It was REALLY good!! Way better than the tour I took at the Everglades last year! The guide was awesome! Always cracking jokes, always sharing interesting facts, and answered all of our questions! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Our master chief Navi-Gator was so funny and entertaining. The swamp was gorgeous. The gators eerie and the bucket o'mini champagnes fit right in -believe it or not!
We did the combo Laura + Swamp. The Plantation tour was also outstanding. We spoke with several other people and friends once back in the quarter who did different tours with other companies and NONE of them had the experience we did. Best of all - it was affordable. Booked it for a good price right on line. Cajun Pride Swamp Tours is the ONLY way to go.
It was terrific! Gators galore!
We were told that more come out at other times of the year too.
The best thing about the entire afternoon were the bus drivers that showed such pride in their city and shared so much historic knowledge with us. They related facts in such detail all the way to the bayou and back. My husband and I discovered more about the city than the city tour we took the day before.
They were WONDERFUL!!!!!
My whole family went from age 2 up to 70 and we ALL had a blast! Captain Coyote kept us engaged and having fun. Not only did we get to see some 'gators, but we learned a lot of Cajun history. I'd definitely go again.
The captain was great & staff was very friendly also. Not far from New Orleans either, worth every penny and I'm terrified of alligators. Beautiful swamp, highly recommend this tour. One complaint though, I wanted it to last even longer, so much fun.
Picked-up from hotel by Cajun Pride. Given Katrina Tour on the way over. Facility is privately-owned. Plenty of bathrooms, snack shop, fed gators, & saw many other animals. Boat is shaded.
I absolutely LOVED your place.I'm a huge alligator fan and have my place adorned with all sorts of alligator collectables. Many from your souvenier shop!I look so forward to visiting again soon and always recommend your place to anyone who is traveling to New Orleans.Great Job! Sincerely, Lori Stewart
We took the swamp tour in Dec '07. The captain was a lot of fun and kept everyone entertained. We even got to pass around a baby gator and a snapping turtle. We only saw one gator in the swamp though and it wouldn't feed. I think we just had bad weather since it was cold and rainy. It was one of the only tours I found without having to pay for transportation, and I think it was a good value, we just hit a slow day.
