Description

Just across Charles Street from the Boston Common, Public Garden is elegantly landscaped with flower beds, lagoons, walking paths and statues, including a notable monument of George Washington on a horse. You can watch couples posing for their wedding photos every summer weekend. The children's story Make Way for Ducklings took place here, and there is a popular sculpture of the ducklings in the northeast corner of the park. A ride in the famous Swan Boats is an essential experience for any visitor.

I wish I could have stayed on the boat all day,,.,

This boat was so tranquil and relaxing (after a long day of walking) I wished it lasted more than a few minutes. Well worth doing. THe park is breathtaking.

WICKED GORGEOUS

DON'T LEAVE BOSTON WITHOUT GOING THERE! This is beautiful beyond words...a place so lovely and historical you feel like you're in a movie. Definitely a busy place and a lot of people passing through, yet it is oh so romantic. Propose there to her! Why not?! Especially lovely in the spring and mid-summer. Bring a jacket, it could be windy. You'll see ponds, lots of trees, flowers, and fountains, squirrels, and ducks, and George Washington on a horse!

Public Garden is awesome.

I Live in Boston, and when ever I go downtown (about twice a month) I always stop at Public Garden. I think it's a great place for kids and families to just relax and have a family picnic. Also if you're looking for more fun there try the Swan boats, THEY ARE AWESOME!!! And the best part is that in the summer you can feed the ducks and geese.
