African Safari Imports, Chicago

I love this place for many reasons. I used to live down the block many years ago.. and would stop in just to say hello to Paulo, the owner, because he is simply a joy to be around. He has story upon story, all so very interesting. I am in love w/ african culture so I adore everything he has to sell, and the prices are extremely low for the quality. My first purchase @ Paulos store was a silver ring for 15 dollars. I still have it, wearing it everyday, my favorite possession. And it has been through the ringer but looks just as beautiful as the day i bought it. Paulo is also an amazing artist.. so check out his work if you make it in, which i strongly recommend!

The place is a joy to be in. The owner is exceptionally nice and helpful. You feel welcomed and the prices are great! I am so glad I saw this store on my visit to Chicago.

Yes, and it's one of my favorite spots in the city for African treasures! i look forward to finding a new piece of art to take home. The store is packed with goodies and Paola customer service is one of the best! Liane L. Allen

African Safari Imports on Broadway in Chicago is OUR favorite place for African Imports. Paolo Bombay is a wonderful, kind, host and has such a selection of goods in his store.
