Binny's Beverage Depot, Chicago

I went to Sam's frequently over the last eleven years. Always a pleasure. In the last two weeks I've been to the new Binny's (in Sam's space) two times. BOTH times there was a problem. First, they tried to overcharge me almost $300 at checkout. Then after spending a large amount of money on food, wine and beer, they were extremely difficult when I tried to return the tap and kegs because I didn't have a receipt. When I first questioned why I would need a receipt and if they told my husband it was required the woman working there told me to "look around", saying there were signs everywhere. Unbelievable. I told her that there is not one customer that would think to read the signs on the walls just for the hell of it while shopping. This company has had a terrible reputation for years. They are going to run the former Sam's space into the ground.

I will never shop at Binny's again. From now I will be shopping at Sam's. The store would not honor stated price on wine list I received from Binny's at a wine tasting. Not only was staff rude but kept passing me on from salesperson to salesperson. Store manager was nowhere to be found.
