Empress Joliet Casino Boats

No one seems to win + the smoke is terrible. No non-smoking areas make it difficult to sit longer than a few minutes. Everyone loses. No one is happy. They give away alot of junk!

Empress is a nice get away for the Chicago-land area visitors and residents alike. With several casino boats to choose from in the area, I still prefer Empress over all of them. They offer the best variety in slots, table games and even Live Texas Hold Em (which I am a huge fan of). The service at each table from dealers, waitresses and pit bosses is friendly and lively. The only thing I would change is the price of some of the table games. It gets very expensive on the weekends, so be ready to play. Their promotions also beat anyone in town giving away cash and cars every Friday. Wednesday nights is also seafood buffet night at the cafe. Check it, I highly recommend it for a good time.

I visited the Empress yesterday (10-31-04) afternoon and although I wasn't a winner, I had a great time! I found the pit bosses friendly and helpful and the dealers were loads of fun! I would definitely suggest a visit.
