Maggiano's Little Italy
Travel back to the 1940s and savor southern Italian cooking in this home-style eatery resembling a post-war "Little Italy" family restaurant. Polished wood floors, intimate tables and black-and-white family portraits give the place a familiar feel. You will enjoy homemade breads, generous pastas and delicious meat dishes. On the weekends, waits can extend for up to two hours. People jam in for the homely atmosphere and huge portions that come with not-so-huge prices. The adjoining bakery will have you taking something home.
I loved the food here! It's delicious!
We go here every easter, and we never leave not sasified. (sorry if that isn't spelled right)The service is very nice, even if it can get a little crowded. The shrimp here is the best i've had. I can't eat shrimp anywhere else!
Loved the food! Family style or traditional Maggiano's is the Italian restaurant to visit in Chicago. It gets crowded, so its not for quiet dining, but the staff are friendly, the food is great and the price is reasonable. I recommend dining family style, its plenty of food with lots of variety.
I was in Chicago in May with my two girlfriends and we wanted some good Italian food. We picked this restaurant because it was just a few blocks from our motel and what it find it was!! They have tables outside. I have to say it was the best spagehtti and meatballs I have ever eaten and my girlfriends thought the same.
The atmosphere is very nice, relaxing. The staff is friendly and ready to please.
This place would be good for a romantic dinner for two or even a family gathering.
I highly recommmend it.
I usually eat at Maggianos Little Italy in Los Angeles - The Grove Location, next to Farmer's Market. I have eaten at the Grove location many times.
On vacation this July 4, 2005, I ate at Las Vegas location.
After walking the Strip for a couple hours, my date and I were both very hungry, and went to Maggianos Little Italy at the Fashion Show Mall.
I order the lagsana, and my date had the Italian Salad.
We expected the best, but we got the worst.
-The waiter did not provide any bread, until we asked.
-The food was rushed. My date's salad still had the preparation utensils from the kichten. The waiter had to take them out, after we asked!
-Several minutes into our meal, my date realized that the salad was poorly washed. There was a bug on her broccili :(
Horrible place! My date vomited several times.
We recieved no compenstation or apolige. We just got asked if we need medical attention or a trip to the hospital, and that is it.
I recommend never eating at the Las Vegas Location. Go to the FOOD COURT next door!
