A wonderful touring experience can be had "all aboard" Boise Trolley Tours. You can travel in an open-air trolley car and explore several local historic locations, including the Basque Block, Julia Davis Park, the Idaho State Capital and more. The trolley is available for charter as well as individual tour rides. Tours depart from the Kit Carson Cafe at 11a and 1p May through September. Please visit their website for more information.
Worst experience ever. First, note the Tour isn't located in Julia Davis Park - the owner was kicked out for extremely poor behavior (i.e. cursing at the customers). She's now operating out of her house (?) on State Street. And she is a train wreck. Cursed at us for wanting to use a credit card, cursed at us for knocking on her door, cursed during the tour. Really, cannot believe she's still operating like this - what a grouch!
It was better when owned by the former owners, i used to come here at least 3 times a year and it was great i started coming here again this year and it has been awful, the new owner is rude and i would not go back again!!!

Even if you live here, great to take your visiting company on this train ride!

The only thing I caution is if you get really sick from exaust fumes like from cars you will want to think carfully but I think its worth it.
