Have you ever wondered why you see colors in soap bubbles? Your answer waits at this educational center, a fun science museum that features interactive and hands-on displays. Visitors can check out the House of Science to see how machines and devices work, and what scientific principles take effect. More than 40 different exhibits, including several traveling exhibits, are featured.

Dirty!! I would not let my kids even get near the bubble wall. Gross. Dingy, Dirty, Old! On the bright side, it was cheap!

Great place to take the grandkids

We took our grandchildren ages 7 and 4. We split the day between the Zoo and the Discovery Center. The kids had a fantastic time and were disapointed when we had to leave at closing time. They especially loved the minature supermarket with the real scanners.

One of Boise's Best Treasures!

We go often and our kids (6 & 7) never seen to get tired of it. Great place to visit where you can encourage curiosity in a safe and controlled environment. Their birthday party package is one of the best deals in the city and I highly recommend the nitrogen icecream demonstration. If you are a family the annual pass pays for itself in just a couple of visits!

Don't Miss This!

Awesome experience! The exhibits are user friendly and almost demand interaction and exploration. We spent 4 hours tinkering with the displays (and we are both adults)! We especially enjoyed the "make-shift" construction of the displays and the creative use of materials to demonstrate the wonders of science concepts. Definitely worth the admision. Lackluster Experience

This center is the equivalent of a middle school science fair, only in this situation you have to pay to see it. I love science, but the presentation was quite boring.

discover fun!!!

this place is a blast for kids of all ages! with the amzing optical allusions and and things that trick the ear. this is a wonderful experience of learning while having a great time.

Fun Place

My son is 3 and enjoys the Discovery center, he learns a lot! They have a little area for toddlers that he enjoys, but older kids may enjoy it more.

we will go again

this place is great. we spent $20 for a family of 5 to get in there is almost nothing a family of 5 can do for $20. plan to spend a good part of the day we spent 3 hours there and didn't even realize how much time had gone buy till they said they were closing.

Cool Place

This was an awesome place! I will go there again! I especially liked the exhibits you could do! It was so cool the way it is set up! Everything has a theme!
