The 60-foot wall in this artist-owned gallery will catch your attention. The hand-painted "History of Art" displays the creativity of the gallery's artists. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Oil, watercolor and acrylic paintings unfold at Art Source Gallery, which displays the work of over 40 artists. There is a medium for every taste including pottery, jewelry, photography and sculpture. Featuring the largest gallery-owned collection of paintings in Boise, the gallery is known for hosting local artists.
Art Source Gallery is an artist-owned cooperative featuring the work of 43 Idaho Artists working in Oils, Watercolors, Photography, Collage, Metal Sculpture, Blown, Stained and Fused Glass, Gourds, Fiber Arts, Jewelry, Acrylics, Pottery and Clay Sculpture. They also have an annex at the Boise Air Terminal.
As the gallery is artist-owned, very little commission is taken from the artist keeping prices very reasonable. Every time you visit the gallery you meet one of the artists as they take turns staffing the gallery space. This gallery holds a beautiful representation of Idaho artists in a variety of media.
