Tom Grainey's Sporting Pub, Boise

It's embarrassing to say that my favorite bar in Boise has such a poor group of bouncers that run it. There are numerous reasons that Grainey's needs a new set of bouncers. One for instance is the bouncers seem to think its okay to say "I'm too HIGH to check IDs just go in." Great way to let underage drinkers in! Another reason would be on Saturday night I saw an appalling issue happen, and no thanks to the bouncers. I saw a girl right in front of the doors (directly behind the bouncers) get sexually harassed and assaulted numerous times by a guy. She kept asking him to stop, and then screamed if you don't stop touching me I'm going to punch you. He then grabbed her vagina and breasts again. She then proceeded to punch him in the face. The long haired hippie bouncer who openly admits to being "too high" then threw her out of the bar. For some bizarre reason beyond my comprehension that disgusting pig of a guy didn't get thrown out(probably because that appalling guy was one of the bouncers friends). Bouncers...next time you might want to be more aware of the full situation. Also if I saw a girl punch a guy in the face, I would say its more than likely that the guy was doing something entirely wrong. Bravo bouncers---keep up the great work! Next time I see something like this happen, I will have the cops breathing down your back.

The staff at Tom Grainey's are real pros. The bouncers do a great job at keeping people safe when it is crowded (and keeping the creepy guys away from the girls). They have an upstairs with two rooms and a pool table as well as a basement bar. They usually have a band on each floor, great beer on tap, great bar tenders, and a great atmosphere. If you get the munchies there is a guy who parks his bratwurst cart outside around 10 or 11 and it is well worth getting one (he's there till after the bar closes),
