Kualoa Ranch, Kaaawa

Both were great and very different! The jungle tour was so much fun thanks to our driver. He was funny plus he stopped at a couple of trees and let us try Guava and Mountain Apples. The views are gorgeous. Oh and you get to ride in this nifty foreign jeep type vehicle. The movie tour was neat because the views - again - were breathtaking and familiar from seeing them in popular movies. We did a half-day excursion which came with a buffet lunch. The food wasn't amazing but it was okay. The ribs were kind of tough, the chicken was really good. There was no dessert which bummed me out, unless the pineapple and watermelon were supposed to be it. Definitely would not purchase the buffet if it wasn't a part of the package. Drink choices were water, punch and coffee.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and went here for the "Lost" TV show and movie location tour through KOS tours. It was one of the highlights of our trip. It was a tour of the ranch in a Hummer and they are the only ones who can access certain parts of the ranch that the ATV's and horses do not go. The guide was great and he brought along a portable DVD player to show you movie scenes at the places they were actaully filmed. Jurassic Park, 50 First Dates, Pearl Harbor, etc. Very cool and highly recommended.

My husband and I went on the 2 hour ATV scenic tour and LOVED every moment. The views were fantastic. We were taken up lush valleys and to breath taking views overlooking the coast. The guide was great, the ATV's were in excellent condition, and I felt safe on the trails. We got to see where Jurasic Park was filmed, as well as LOST and other famous movies. There were old World War II bunkers, wild pigs, beautiful lush forest....I could go on and on. The 1 hour tour is okay, however, they did not get to go up into the more lush areas of the ranch. Spend the extra dollars for the 2 hour tour, you'll be glad you did! ALOHA! P.S. When we go back, this activity will be at the top of our list to do again!

A bit pricey but still worth the trip. The trip to the ranch is a sight worth seeing, once there you have your choice of a variety of options to explore the ranch. Due to its location each option let's you see different parts of the Windward coast. It's beautiful!

Great place to be. Gorgeous beyond belief. Do the ATV tour (did the 1 hour but will go back for the 2 next time). The valley they take you on this tour is surreal. It's where Jurassic park was filmed. I was in awe.

The atmosphere was so beautiful and relaxing. I recommend it to anyone visiting the island. The instructors are very courteous and make your visit there even more enjoyable.
