Battleship Missouri Memorial, Honolulu

We have been to the Missouri twice. The first time we went, we took the Captain's Tour which was a gided tour of the ship in areas where the general public is not allowed, such as the Captains quarters. The tour ended with lunch in the Captain's quarters. I was amazing just thinking about all of the famous military and political men who had been in that very room. The second time that we went, we took another guided tour that took us to other areas of the ship that are aging closed to the general public (engine room, brig, cannon firing room, Bridge, etc.). We also had lunch in the ships mess hall which is open to the public. It would be fun just walking around the Missouri but if you really want a memorable experience, take the guided tours. If we go back to Oahu, we will see the "Mighty Mo" again

This is the best experience I have ever had. The Explorer's Tour is well worth it, I was very happy with our tour guide and the free meal aboard the ship. Get there early because it's popular and there will be a wait.
