Star of Honolulu Dinner Cruise, Honolulu

This place is so Awsome! I would go there every day if I could go. I saw Mary-Kate and Ashley eating there.

AWSOME!!!!

i was amazazing!!! ha this was the best trip ever and i cant wait to go next year hopefully next year it will be better cuz it was like 25 degrees...celcius hahahaha i got u on that one. lol

We went on the dinner cruise for my birthday. The food and service were good but no one seated around us spoke English. I think most of the passengers that evening were Asian and not friendly. Are noon or afternoon dinner cruises ever offered?

went on the 12/20/07 sunset cruise. i got the one star package for me and my s.o. lady luck was on our side because it was really clear, despite having a really wet and cloudy december. and the sunset was amazing. also, it was a slow night. not much guests which allowed us to have our own table. the entertainment was real good. but they could have turned the volume down a bit. the crab and steak wasnt bad. not top choice, but still good. even though my s.o. got sea sick, the night was enjoyable.

Probably one of Hawaii's best kept secret. An amazing dinner of Pacific Rim. (Better than what I got at Roys or Alan Wongs). The atmosphere, service, and views all make it trully an evening to remember. The best thing it's very affordable...I strongly suggest if you get a chance to go...go!

I think the place is nice....... and I wish the i have a chance to work in that kind of cruise

The Star of Honolulu was a wonderful and relaxing retreat from day to day grinding in Hawaii. Being in the military, my wife and I were able to secure a discount for the star package. Some of the good things about our experience were that parking was not a problem. We found a space in a manner of minutes at the Aloha Tower Marketplace parking area. It took just a brief 5 minute walk to get to the star pier, which was actually right next to the Honolulu Hooters. The hula dancers greeted us upon our arrival, and shortly after being seated we were off. The bottom deck was a bit crowded, but most people kind of worked their way to the observation areas around the perimeter of the boat. The views were breathtaking, and the music was pretty good. We ended up having steak and crab, which was not too bad at all. My wife and I did start to get a bit queasy at times, but we both have a problem with motion sickness. Anyway, we ventured to the top deck to get a better look around, and I finally found something wrong with this boat. The smokers!!! They totally took over the top deck, and my wife and I couldn't stand up there more than 2 minutes. If you want a more private experience, the top dinner deck (the most expensive) had tables that were pretty far apart, and very few people were actually dining there. I guess you should just go on preference and budget. Anyway, this cruise was a great, romantic experience, and I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a good adult only experience (too loud for the kids)

This was one of the highlights our our trip to Oahu. I had originally scheduled the dinner cruise for my wife and myself, but with my wife having spent most of her life on the island, she wanted us to take her youngest god-daughter and her boyfriend out for the evening, as she had to work most of our visit and it would give us a little more time with her. We called and added them to our reservations. We had the tour operator pick us up at the hotel, and they got us to the Tower Center where the ship is docked. We were escorted to our seats and the salad was already waiting for us on our plates, dinner was good and they had live entertainment from the time we arrive to the time we dock. Dinner was excellent, and the staff were really great. We were able to stroll the deck and grab plenty of pictures of the sunset, Diamond Head and the city view of Waikiki from the ocean. My wife was really impressed, as she had lived the majority of her life on the island, but had never seen it from this view.

We were very disappointed with our dinner cruise. We did the 5 star cruise and left hungry. The entertainment and food were both. We were rushed the entire time. The boat left at 6:00 and returned to the dock by 7:30. We also talked with other couples that paid less and sat on a lower level. They were also very disappointed with their experience. Please do not waste your money and time.
