Pearl Harbor, Honolulu

I WENT TO PEARL HARBOR ON JUNE 25,2007 AND I LIKE IT AND YOU LEARN FROM DEC 7,1941 THE USS ARIZONA IS A GREAT PLACE TO GO AND IT"S EXCELLENT.

I went there when I was 13 yrs. old for Christmas break-1987... The Memorial is a GREATE place to visit while anyone who visits Oahu. The mueseum has so many stories to tell just by reading the letters that the soldiers wrote home to their loved ones.... I recommend anyone who goes to Hawaii, go visit and see Pearl Habor! Yes it was more than worth the time, and money. Oahu is a little piece of Heaven. It is truely a trip of a lifetime. Summer Devine

This is a must for all travelers to Honolulu. Get there early as the available spots to take the launch to the actual memorial close early. I would suggest going there at around 0630 to get in line. Do not braing any bags as you can't get in with them. There are lockers available to secure items with. It is a very nice Somber Reminder of the price paid for our freedom.

My husband and I thouroughly enjoyed the Pearl Harbor exhibit and tour. It was a fascinating look into history and you could feel the emotions of that day in Pearl Harbor. The kids also enjoyed it and it was a day well spent. I highly recommend it to anyone that loves history or wants to learn more about Pearl Harbor and what happened that day.

Totally depressing. If you want to ruin a good day go see it. 90% of the tourists are Japansese and you can't help but feel a little anger towards them. Go see the rest of the island.

unless your randfather died there or you are a history teacher, don´t go, it is far, expensive, boring, you travel for hours to see a floating thing in the sea, and then they say: under this is the ship....... then you travel back for hours..... just go and enjoy the beaches, the waterfalls somewhere else in the island.....

This was a wonderful experience for us. I had a father and several brothers in the military in past years. This visit had special meaning for me. I would highly recommend going to Pearl Harbor! Wouldn't go to Hawaii without going there.

If you love to learn and take in everything a location has to offer when you travel, you must go to Pearl Harbour. It was a eye opening experience that tugged on our heart strings. I will never forget being there, trying to imagine the fear these people must have felt on that fateful day. The atmosphere is haunting, and thought provoking ....you will never forget the experience.

This was such a memorable occasion that I will never forget. This place is a MUST SEE, I am grateful to our military and will always honor them. Beautiful go and visit this awesome place. I loved it!

We were vacationing in Maui and made a special trip over to Oahu to visit Pearl Harbor. We actually purchased tickets online a couple days before we went, so we didnt have to worry about any wait, especially since we were only their for the day. This place is run very efficiently, from the time to enter, till you leave and visit the gift shop. We spent over 6 hrs there, since there is so much to see between the ship, Arizona memorial, etc. So I would'nt plan on seeing too much of anything else if your there for just a day trip. We went with a specialized tour, which was the best! The tour guide was actually retired military and very knowledegeable. To me and my husband it was well worth the extra money. You really got a feel for what the servicemen experienced. A must see for those staying or visiting Oahu!!!!!!
