They gouge you on parking!!!

Restaurant Row claims that it's a great place to hang out, but don't hang out too long, or they'll gouge you on parking. We had a wonderful lunch at the Sunset Grill. We then decided to take in a 50 cent movie at Wallace Theaters. When we got to the parking booth, I had to pay $9 for parking and my friend had to pay $15!!! (I got my ticket validated at the movies, my friend got hers validated at the restaurant) You see, they will only honor one parking validation, so if you spend any length of time there, you pay big time. To make matters worse, the parking attendant was very arrogant and condescending. She spat at me that I shouldn't moan about $9 because I only paid 50 cents for the movie. She also told me not to complain about paying for parking because the "monthly parkers" pay a lot more, because hospitals charge for parking, and because she only makes minimum wage. I didn't understand her point. I only know that while we spent mere 50 cents each for our movie, our lunch was almost $80, and we don't even drink! Is it really fair that we should pay $9 & $15 (that's $24 total) for our parking? She then went on to suggest that if I don't want to pay so much for parking, then the next time I come to Restaurant Row, I should exit the parking garage and reenter between lunch and the movie. Now there's an intellegent solution!!! Let's see...We have a baby...Do we really want to buckle up baby, travel round and round to exit, drive around the block, and then round and round again to repark? Perhaps there won't be a next time...Restaurant Row is not the only entertainment spot in town!!!
