Pacific Splash by Dream Cruises
Touted as a Barefoot Fun Cruise, this adventure is perfect for just about any age. It starts off with a mellow ocean cruise. Later in the day, the ship moors in a secluded cove. Passengers can snorkel and swim in the blue ocean waters; a waterslide and water trampoline are provided. Hamburgers, hot dogs, teriyaki chicken, vegetables and fruit are served during the lunch cruise. The morning cruise, which features a full American style breakfast, is less expensive.
We went in 2003 and they had just changed the menu, (So I was told by the crew)
and we all found the food so simply delicious on the evening cruise. We went back for the swim cruise and had an equally enjoyable time. We came back to town in 2005 and found the food not quite as exciting as before, but still just fine. It was a different boat this time, but we all had a great time. Thanks.
This company is not worth the money at all. We went in 1999 and had a ball. Food was great and the snorkling was great. In 2005 we decided to go again and had a terrible time. The boat was not the one the company advertised. (they said the one with the slide was broken down) The food was not good at all. No BBQ. They brought food onto the boat and tried to keep it warm but since we were out in the water, the warmer candles kept burning out. The food was cold! This company has gone down hill and I wouldn't spend the money again!
We loved this trip and would do it again. The boat was clean, large, and comfortable, the crew was very attentive, helpful and entertaining, and the food was delicious. We snorkled, jumped on the trampoline, entered the splash contest on the water slide, and did hula dancing on the way back to port. It was a great day in the water. All of the water and snorkeling equiptment is provided - all you need to bring is a towel! We would highly recommend this trip to other travelers.
I could not believe my eyes when I got on the tub this company calls a ship. It's more like a garbage bardge, but I could have overlooked that if it were not for "water" equipment. It had so much dirt on it that I was affraid for the fish to take it in the water. The crew said the company had alot of financial trouble and they could not afford new equipment. Then on the way back I took a good look at their bus. It was missing parts and had holes in the floor. The chairs rocked back and forth as they were loose and on the outside they were dirty, old, and had bid dents in it. Overall this company really sucks. The crew did nothing to help us, the equipment sucked, and I wish I had gone to the beach with my friends. DON'T GO!
