Hawaiian mall
Not that Honolulu needed another mall along Kalakaua ave,its International mkt place and Royal Hawaiian malls are plenty.Yet what Waikiki shopping plaza has that the others don't,is a trendy atmosphere. In its many tiered levels, five in all, take you from soup to nuts.I spent a few hrs in the evening here and snacked on spring rolls at an eatery in the lower level. Here too is Subway,Popeyes, oriental eats and a cafe for hot and cold drinks.Other levels included art gallerys, souveniers, houseware items and gifts. The piece de resistance, however is located on the 5th level. Here is "Kid Kahuna" a fun and games locale having glo-in the dark golf, boutique carts with one of a kind crafts and trendy gifts. Also on the day I happened to be here free pop corn and pink carnival cotton candy were given to shoppers!
What fun,the more malls the merrier, cuz Hawaii just isn't the hula anymore!
