They're best eaten hot, leaden when cold. Another specialty is pao doce (Portuguese sweet bread). Danish pastries, cookies, breads and specialty wedding and birthday cakes are also available. Mouth watering Malasada's!!
By Tiffany, 02/13/07
The malasada's are to die for! However the coffee comes in close second with Wailana's coffee house. But overall Lenards is for sure a treasure on this island!

Mmmm malasadas!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/06/06
A little off the beaten path, but worth going to! We were originally just going to but malasadas, but we started looking at everything else and ended up buying $23 worth of stuff! The original malasadas are to die for and they make them fresh in the back when you order them. They even taste good the second day in case you were crazy and didn't eat them all when you first got them! Enjoy!
