Bijoux de Plaza
This spacious, elegant jewelry store is located on the third floor of the Waikiki Shopping Plaza . There are no walls, only pillars at the corners with display cases in between them, which means passers-by can view almost all of the store without ever entering. The merchandise ranges from inexpensive to fine jewelry. There are $30 gold-plated rings and 18-karat and emerald creations that carry five-figure price tags. The friendly saleswoman will be happy to show you to the display that suits you best.
We've been going to Bijoux for nearly 10 years and continue to be loyal customers. The hand-made, modern pieces and Hawaiian inspired designs are beautiful, wearable, special, and well-priced. The store offers a broad selection of earrings, rings, bracelets, and necklaces made with Tahitian black pearls, gold pearls, precious and other semi-precious stones. It's a pleasure to do business with Joe (owner) and Mary; they're delightful!
My first time in O'ahu (waikiki area) and saw many jewelry displays in stores and kiosks. What made me notice this place is that they are not highend retail to scare you from entering the store but not kiosk retail. Their store is professional and nicely displayed. They have a very unique selection of jewelry grouped in each type of gem. It is not the same thing seen over and over as you walk around and shop in all the stores in Waikiki. They have fair competitive pricing and the quality is impressive. I saw many pieces I would have liked to buy (and probably should have for investment), so will definitely go back and buy there again when I return in a couple months. I walked away as a very satisfied customer and had the feeling that I had just made a really smart purchase!
We used to live in Hawaii and moved to Japan 10 years ago. We met Joe, owner/jeweler thru friend for custom design and making a ring my wife lost when we still in Hawaii. Over the yearwhenever we come back home(Hawaii), we always visit Bijoux, Joe and the staff are so Knowledgable and capable of craeting many pieces of Hawaiian Jewelry for us. BIJOUX and Joe is A true JEWELER in today's world of mass retailing and formulated business. We have other friends came to Bijoux and have their valued jewelry repaired expertly. Fair and with Intergrity !
One of the finest jewelry selections we've found in tahitian pearls. Pieces are hand crafted and individually design by Joe Ko (owner, sales. He and Mary (sales) are knowledgable, friendly, helpful. Joe's contemporary designs are timeless and can be worn on special occasions as well as daily.
This jeweler has a superior vision in jewelry design and is very fair on pricing. His staff is welcoming and informative. Oahu is a very competitive jewelery market, but this jeweler has unique pieces and something for everyone. Definitely worth a visit.
I HAVE BEEN DOING BUSINESS WITH JOE FOR OVER 27 YEARS - WHEN HE FIRST CAME TO HONOLULU.
BEING FROM CANADA, I ONLY MAKE THIS TRIP ONCE A YEAR.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP AS I HAVE NEVER BEEN SOLD SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT OF TRUE VALUE. MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS ALL REAP THE REWARDS OF JOES WORK.
