im a local, born and raised in hawaii. I love wholesale snacks. Last week after work i went after work with my husband and my keikiz to da kaneohe store, i usually go to da town 1, but had to run errands on da windward side. We went inside i wanted to buy my family visiting from mainland some local goodies for take home. I knew what i wanted but i never know where it was in da store. I was trying to get the sales lady to help me but she was on da phone (not work related, i was listening) just ignored me. I had my kids with me so i didn't make a scene, but then this tall guy came in and she told who eva she was talking to ohh gotta go gotta go, and went up to him and asked if he needed help. So i walk up to her and said hello, i was waiting first, you know what she said, "im with a customer you need to wait", i told my husband to take da kids to da car. He pulled me out faster then lighting, so she got luck. Fyi: shes da tall lady, horse faced, mole on her nose! I should have waited to go to da mapunapuna store! Next time i'll just go to dat snack store in kalihi, maybe they might help me!

Years ago a buddy was taking me to the airport and he stopped here so I could take some snacks home to the mainland. Now this warehouse-looking store is as much of a "must visit" as Matsumoto's or Zippys. I haven't been to Oahu in a few years but I get a little taste each time my "cybersnacks" order arrives.

WUI is a great place to buy the island favorites. Love the on line service. Got the best seedless whole cherries around. This is definitely a local favorite that should be a must for any visitor to the islands. And for those of us who have left the islands, they're just a computer click away.
