I was there also Rini between those dates I was there every weekend. We probably ran into each other many many times, since I too was friends with most of the people there including Fred.

I was living in Waikiki from 98-2001. And I was at Scruples 4 nights a week. I miss the old days. I was friends with almost everyone working there, new and old :) But of course my fav DJ of all time would be Forest! The crowd is a good mix of tourist and locals hence the music is a good mix of everything from US-Top-Charting hits to Japanese-Pop. :) I heard it has changed management so I don't know if Fred still owns the place, but it was definately a great place to hang out with friends or to meet new people back then. I met half of my boys (from K-bay and everywhere else) from there... especially K! my favorite MP from Scholfield :)

I was there with a couple of friends and it was NASTY...Now dont get me wrong, the service was good and people were friendly but the place was just dirty...the bathroom was the WORST....I have no problem with the covercharge because the drinks are like a dollar yeah so no probs...But maybe they could clean up a little bit...Oh, the bouncers, are these tall, big, suppose to be scary looking guys, a word of advice, try smiling a little bit...You just look like door stoppers if you dont smile, and all that mean mugging doesnt scare nobody...Now remember Wednesday are a dollar a drink and dont let these big guys scare you....I'm going back there again to try it out again...its all about second chances...

the atmospher was relaxed. the owner fred piluso was veryt much into hanging with the crowd. relaxing and having friendly conversations with the guest. and thursday night are the best as long as they are still bikini night.

I was planning on going here with a group of friends tonight. I will not be 21 for about 20 days but my husband is.. Thank god before we drove across the island to go to this place we found out they charge under 21 a $20.00 cover charge fee and they require you to also put a $20.00 deposit down in case you get caught drinking or get kicked out for any other reason.. otherwise you get that deposit back. Still for my husband and I to go out for once its at least over 20.00 for us to get in.. Please that's a bit much there are other places to go that I already know is more fun!!

liked booths and waitresses are friendly and hot, didn't like the dance floor though...too small for the amount of people who want to dance there. the light's are perfect and the drinks are strong, so come along, nothing could possibly go wrong...?

i went in '06 and they were playin music (on a sat. night) like that "come on ride the train you can ride it" song.... and it was just boring. it can be okay if your WASTED... but if your under 21 its a $20 charge to get in PLUS a $20 deposit so if your caught drinkin inside you lose the deposit!!!!! NOT WORTH IT UNLESS YOUR DESPERATE!!!!!!!!

I loved this place, Great place. It was a good size bar, great music, Friendly bartenders, even hooked us right up with all kinds of shots

We can drink and dance with a lot of great hot music! And It's so much safe place I think. Please not change your style.(concept etc) I wanna go back!

What I like about the place was that the waitresses were very pretty. However the manager is quite obnoxious. He also did not seem to realize his job responsibilities. I had been chatting with a lady and the manager later told me to leave her alone in quite a "fierce" manner. The woman I had talked to did not seem to mind me talking. If she did, she should tell me she wanted to be left alone. Instead she went to the manager for assistance. The manager should know that I am as much a customer as she is. There was another time I went there and my feet was on the sofa. The manager told me this was not my home. (Same irritating guy). As a manager, should exceed customer's expectations. What he should have done in the woman's case was to tell her if I had been harassing her. As I had not been, or she should have told me, I would not have talked to her. In the second scenario, the manager should be more diplomatic and tell me nicely and politely that other customers would not like my posture and the business would be affected. I would advice everyone to stay away from this place. Unless you are a pretty girl and enjoy getting this manager to tell people off.
