Thirst Aid Station, Honolulu

if you've never had a slush float before, this is one fo the best places to go get one. They are deliciouis and it is a crime that you cna only get them in hawaii.

*personal reccomendation: guava slush with chocolate ice cream (but vanilla ice cream in whatever flavor you prefer is a classic)

I love Thirst Aid Station! They have good service and they smoothies and slushes are absolutely delicious. I especially love the pina colada smoothie and the passion fruit slush!

Why O Why did they ever replace this unique beverage stand which no one else can ever live up to. I live in Hawaii and every Sunday we'd take a ride to Ala Moana just for the ONO (delicious) smoothie. The others hit it right on target, U GOTTA GET 2!!! This is simply the best smoothie and slush place ever built. I wonder if the owners are still around, maybe we can make a plea to have them bring it back. We are fortunate to have had thirst aid station grace our beautiful island.

I was told that this place closed down recently. SAD! I started going there in the 80's and then as my work left Hawaii and moved onto Guam and Saipan, my local friends in Hawaii would bring Thirst Aid Station smoothies to me at the airport in cooler bags for the flight (Obviously before 9/11). When my fiancee and I traveled to hawaii on vacation in 2002.... the Thirst Aid Station was high on the priority list of things locals do. Nothing compared to them and as another reviewer mentioned... Getting two at a time... that wasn't gluttony... that was just how you had to do it. They should have sold a 40 oz. version...
