Savannah Symphony (The)
Description
Internationally recognized conductor Philip Greenberg and a group of talented musicians form the Savannah Symphony, rated the top orchestra in the State of Georgia by the Georgia Council for the Arts. The season runs September through May and is filled with all types of musical events featuring masterpieces, chamber music, and pops. Seasonal performances include a Halloween Thriller concert in October, and Sounds of the Season in December. The Symphony also sponsors various programs and community activities. Schedules and ticket prices vary.
