Just Kiln' Time, Marietta

I took my 3 yr old and 10 month old in last week to make mothers day gifts and had an amazing experience. The staff was very helpful and guided me on what to do and helped with ideas and moving me also since my time was limited with the children in tow. We are already planning another trip tomorrow for fathers day gifts:) Love this place!

Hello fellow painters! I would like to address the parking behind the shop. This is an easy fix - if you are coming here to paint then just walk right in and tell us what you are driving and we will text the parking attendant. No harm, no foul and everyone is happy. The parking lot behind us is for customers of the pottery shop and the business next to it only. The parking lot is clearly marked in at least 5 spots including the one immediately behind the shop which states "FOR POTTERY PAINTING CUSTOMERS ONLY". I am sorry that some people want to blame their lack of paying attention on JUST KILN TIME. The owner of that shop has no control over the parking lot. Most shops in the square have no parking so it is an added bonus, but if this is an issue that you are afraid of then just park in the square and walk over. We want all our customers to be happy.

Because your car is going to have a boot on it. Don't expect this proprietor to help you out, either. It's her bad landlords! The parking lot attendant admitted he makes a commission on boots. I'm going to imagine the lady that owns this dump does, too.

I had hears some good things about this place, so we made a visit. The staff was extremely impatient with my 13 year old. (Who was well behaved but not very decisive nor inclined to follow the standard art guidelines.) The staff rolled their eyes at her color choices and childish designs. I mentioned she's 13, right? I felt rushed. The product quality was fine but the atmosphere and customer service was awful. Thinking perhaps I was over sensitive, I asked around. I found several of acquaintances who had the same problem with this particular store, both with children and adults. I won't be back.

I have been to many paint-your-own-pottery studios in metro Atlanta, and this one without a doubt has the best and most diverse pottery selection. The owner is very friendly and nice, and there is another girl who works there nights and she will stay until you get done painting your piece. I noticed that this site listed the hours wrong. I know they stay open until 9 on Thursdays, and I'm pretty sure they stay open until 10 on Fridays and Saturdays. You might want to call first, bc I'm not 100% sure. My mom and I have made Thursdays our "date" night and we love to go there and paint after dinner. It has become our routine.

Top-notch service and great atmosphere! Great selection of pieces and knowledgeable staff. I will be returning multiple times before X-MAS! The owner even let me into her private stash or paints! Sofriendly and very helpful...we were there for 6 hours!!!

I didn't think I was creative, but the staff inspired me with ideas and I was really happy with my plate. Fun place to get your art on! My daughter loved it too and always drinks out of her special mug she got to paint.

My friends held a baby shower for me at Just Kiln Time. The staff was so helpful in setting up and explaining what would work and look good. We had a wonderful time. My friends decorated tea sets and cups and platters to match baby girl's room. I will treasure this pottery for the memories of such fantastic friends.

"Something for everyone, no matter your ablity" says my 8 yr old. We had a great afternoon, want to do it again soooon. Wish they were opened on Monday.
