Little White House, Warm Springs

When Franklin D. Roosevelt was president, he spent a great deal of time in the warm healing springs located in the small town of Warm Springs. So much time, in fact, that he built himself a home here and named it the Little White House. Roosevelt carried out much of his administration from this tranquil spot, which is also where he died. An adjacent museum houses Roosevelt's walking cane collection along with many photos from his administration. Both sites are open daily year-round, and admission is free.
