Perfect for learners; frustrating for the experienced
You can't pay $7 greens fees and expect Augusta National. The Candler Park golf course is in less-than-stellar condition, the greens especially are pretty rough, and the more experienced golfers will spend a lot of time waiting, since the course is often filled with beginners. But, for the beginners, it's perfect. Cheap golf, semi-challenging holes, and a remarkably laid-back atmosphere (jeans . . . flip-flops . . . who cares?). I like going with a few friends and a cooler full of beers.
