Description:

Southerness Golf Club offers one of the toughest public course challenges in Georgia. Situated just east of the city in Stockbridge, Southerness boasts several long par fours with shots that constantly test a player's accuracy over water and among sand traps. There is a driving range and practice area along with a well-stocked pro-shop and grill. Interstate 20 East to Exit 36 (Wesley Chapel Road). Turn right at exit, travel until first stop light, and take left onto Snapfinger Road. Travel to Alexander Lake and take left. Course is two miles (one kilometer) down the road.
