Insulted by the Atlanta Braves ticket office
By ,
I received free tickets from my childrens school for their good grades. They received their free ticket form from the school 2 weeks apart at their school. I had already sent money in for the other 2 in my family because i had no idea my other child would receive the same prize. I called the office and asked them what to do they told me to just cancel the check out and write a note with my other childs tickets so their would be no confusion.I did exactly that and I copied the note so i would have it for reference. I repeated to them what they wanted me to do and the lady said that was correct. I have never canceled a check out in my life my bank told me there was a 5.00 charge so that versus 14.00 i went with that. When i called my bank and told them i was being charged 44.00 from their bank they said that was a ridiculous price for a canceled check. Being i had never canceled a check i did not know their was 2 fees. The lady in the office should have been educated on that!!!!!The ticket office sends me the tickets, me and my husband were bragging because they did not mess up. Low and behold a week later I get a call from the office and the manager states that no one in their office would have told me to cancel the check out. so in a nutshell he plain flat out called me a liar and said i owed them $44.00. Why should i have given them money when I had paperwork for 4 tickets free instead of 2. The tickets were free as a gift to my children from the school, the face value of the tickets was only $6.00. Obviously they need to do some instruction to individuals in their office so they will be competent in handling peoples situations. As I told the office this was extremly poor management I have never been called a liar in my life. I wish i would have recorded my conversation on the day that i called the office. I gave the office several days to contact me I told them on an answering machine that i would post a review of this horrible experience if someone did not call and apologize and rectify this situation , they did not so I have left a statement and if you have any special tickets given to you for children or anyone be careful because they did not follow through for us. I would hate to see more kids get as upset as mine did when they found out they would not be going because of some people not knowing how to do their job

An American pastime at it's finest!
By ,
I grew up a Dodger fan. But that changed once I moved to Atlanta and visited Ted Turner Field for the first time. The ambiance and electricity of the crowd had me doing the TomaHawk chop proudly. I enjoyed the family atmosphere, the ushers were not only nice and pleasant they also kept order in the stands. There are many things to do at the ballpark in case your not interested in sitting the entire game. I was soo pleased with my family's exepierence I bought season tickets for this year. Needless to say my family and I have become Die hard Braves Fans and have greatly enjoyed going to "The Ted" on weekends.

Awesome experience every time!
I'm a huge Braves fan, and the Atlanta Braves without a doubt have the nicest ballpark in the major leagues! There's plenty to do at the ballpark and the seats are all incredible views. My parents are not really baseball fans, but they recently went with me and loved the experience! Just be prepared to spend some money! As with all sporting events and venues, the prices are not cheap. A Coke is like $4.50 and the food is even more expensive. Nothing unusual though. Going to a Braves game is an excellent family outing!

Can not wait to go back
By ,
I loved going to see the Braves Play. They have a beautiful stadium, the food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful. I loved being able to take my family and firends and hang out and watch a ballgame. They have lots for the children to do to keep them interested in the game and stadium. Everyone who worked there was very nice to us. I loved this year where they had the new TV for so everyone could see better. My neice and nephew loves the coke bottle that shots the fireworks out when they win the game or get a home run. Over this is one of my favorite places to visit during the year.

Go early!!!! Traffic is HORRIBLE!
By ,
I have been to 3 stadiums in this wonderful nation of ours. And the longest it took to get from my home to my seat in the park was 1 hour and 20 minutes. The Braves have broken my all-time record. It took me 2 hours and 50 minutes to get to my seat!! It's just COMPLETELY disorganized to get people in there! As for everything else, it was great. Seats are priced accordingly. People were kind even though they lost that day. It was the most entertaniing ballgame I've ever been to and I've been to a lot! There was always something going on making it more fun to be sitting there. They just have to fix that traffic/parking problem immediately! ARG!
